Nancy Pool Morgan, Program Director

Nancy Morgan received her MEd in Counseling and Career Development as well as a BS in Business Management from Colorado State University.  She brings in twenty years of higher education administrative and career and personal growth counseling experience.  Most recently, she spent six years managing and directing client services, a homeless shelter and volunteer programs for a non-profit human services organization in Jefferson County.  She has held leadership positions in professional associations at the local, state and national level and was a member of Leadership Jefferson County Class of 2009.

Jamie Bruhl, Controller

Jamie Bruhl is a graduate of Arizona State University with a B.S. in Accounting. She has worked over ten years in the accounting field with experience in both the profit and non-profit sectors. Jamie is a Lakewood native and she and her family currently live in the Green Mountain area.

Gage Crispe, Events & Marketing Intern

Gage is a long time advocate of Second Wind Fund of nearly three years and first began as a SWFMD Teen Ambassador that promoted youth suicide prevention at Green Mountain High School. As part of the SWFMD Teen Ambassador program, Gage obtained excellent public speaking skills and speaks at various public speaking events across Colorado to help promote awareness and support for Second Wind Fund. Gage is currently a busy freshman at the University of Denver and is pursuing dual degree business concentrations and numerous minors. Gage enjoys serving as a leader in several student body groups at DU, helping the community, and spending time with family and friends.

Hillary Grossman, Events & Marketing Intern

Hillary is currently a Junior pursuing a dual degree of Economics and International Affairs with a minor in Journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder. After graduation she plans to obtain a masters degree in International Public Relations. Hillary has experience in International Marketing after interning in Hong Kong during the summer of 2011 with an international consumer product marketing company. She also has a passion for social activism and has spent time providing educational tutoring to underprivileged children. Hillary is committed to the opportunity to help those in critical need through the Second Wind program. In her spare time Hillary enjoys hiking, yoga and shopping.

Youth We Are Helping

This 11 year old girl has been making comments such as “I’m done,” “I’m tired,” and “I don’t want to do this anymore.” She is having problem with her Mom and other relationships as well. She has no plan, and isn’t an imminent danger to herself, but she is going downhill quickly, as described by her school counselor. The family has limited coverage through insurance and is working on applying for Medicaid.
