If your place of employment offers a workplace giving option, select Second Wind Fund of Metro Denver. If SWFMD is not listed, write us in!

The workplace campaign season will kick off in September.  Giving through payroll deduction is, for most people, the easiest way to make a significant donation to your favorite charity. You may have the opportunity to support us through payroll deduction in your workplace, so please consider supporting us through payroll deduction.


If you are a Federal employee, our agency's number for the Combined Federal Campaign is 89908.

If you are a State of Colorado employee, our number for the Colorado Combined Campaign is 0954.

If you work for the City and County of Denver, our number for the Denver Employees Combined Campaign is 2550.

If you work for a private employer, our number is 6059.

If your workplace has a United Way-only workplace giving campaign, remember that you can still give to us through payroll deduction.  Just write in Second Wind Fund on the bottom of the United Way pledge card and your gift will be passed on to us. Code numbers won't work in this situation.

Youth We Are Helping

This 14 year old girl has started cutting her wrists again. She thinks of suicide and has a plan to use a rope, although she says she probably wouldn't do it. She recently lost a family member to suicide and thinks about his death a lot. Family has no insurance, no Medicaid.
